Are my documents uploaded?
No. Files are read and compared in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Why is a PDF comparison flagged?
PDFs store positioned text, not paragraphs, so extraction order can differ from what you see. When the layout looks unreliable (for example multiple columns) we warn you rather than pretend to be sure.
Does it track Word “track changes”?
No. It compares the final text of two files and does not read tracked changes or comments.
